Volume 2 of The Dead Road series!
It was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. It turned out to be the complete opposite...
Having made their way down the mountain, Alex, Roger and Eli hear a faint voice on the radio. Now, following the mysterious recorded message, they have an ever-so slight hope of finding other survivors or maybe even a way out of this apocalyptic mess.
Leading them to the small town of Maybridge, the three have to find the strange voice and the radio station, and hopefully discover they are not alone in this new world.
But will they find what they are looking for? Or something altogether more…sinister?

Praise for The Dead Road
"Really liked all the books in this collection, they kept me on the edge of my seat. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys this type of book."
"Starts out fast and furious with backseat mayhem reminiscent of Pulp Fiction and ends with a road trip to destiny...or the next town over, called Maybridge. Four city slickers go camping/hunting for a week in the woods and discover that the world around them has become zombified. This is the story of their escape from the woods. Nicely done."

SLADE A SURVIVAL MEMOIR
When disaster struck, Slade Thompson chose to stay behind during the evacuations. Being a hobby prepper, he was certain he had enough supplies to last at least a year, besides, everyone would be back in a few weeks, right?
Weeks have turned to months, and Slade is left with no idea why the people (and electricity) have failed to return. Dealing with his lack of supplies is quickly becoming an issue, and Slade is forced to venture out of the safety of his home in search of some.
What happens when he goes beyond the safe borders of his yard? Is he really as safe as he'd thought? How does Slade react when his neighborhood and home are threatened by raiders?
FACT AND FICTION A SURVIVAL NOVEL
After a disaster that wiped out the East Coast, a vegetarian survivalist fiction writer and his family retire to the shores of a local lake to wait out the anarchy before the relief effort. The fiction he wrote becomes his reality as he relies on his books to give him the knowledge he needs to build, hunt, and survive in this new and foreign world.
Will they survive the oncoming winter?
The Dead Road Vol 2 Maybridge eBook Robert Paine
The second part of this serialized story takes about 30 minutes to read - short and sweet, about 50 pages on my ereader. Our intrepid city slicker survivors, having made it down the mountainside, encounter a lone survivor and decide that safety in numbers during the zompoc is a good thing. Just maybe not in Maybridge. Again, a fun, short zombie-filled read that's engaging and well written.Product details

The Dead Road Vol 2 Maybridge eBook Robert Paine Reviews
Great book, it really draws you in.
Good short read!
Interesting story it just is to short.
The only thing is that a clip is what you put the rounds in when you load a gun. 😀
Couldn't finish this. Right wing political drivel disguised as fiction.
Good book, but buy it as the set!
Volume 2 of the dead road series is definitely an improvement over volume 1. I found volume 1 similar to most zombie flicks out there. However, volume 2 has a much more realistic and honest feel to it. The dialog is better and characters more development. Good improvement.
