Conclusion to the trilogy. Norse gods, magic, and unlikely hero Ted Callan, tattooed oilpatch worker, all return for a rematch with fire god Surtur. The epic battle at the end was especially fun to read because it took place in downtown Edmonton, which I know well. This series has one of my favourite depictions of Loki the trickster.Product details

Chadwick Ginther's "Too Far Gone " is indeed a thrilling conclusion to his Thunder Road trilogy. Ted Callan prepares to face his mortal foe, Surtur, and prevent the end of the world by fire. Sounds simple, right? But nothing in the Nine Worlds is ever simple and Ted has more than his hands full. Dwarves, elves, dead, formerly dead, gods and goddesses, men and women make for a surprising, stunning read. It's one of those books that goes everywhere with you until it's done. And at the end... WHY isn't there a fourth book in this trilogy? I loved all the characters and want to hang out with them again!
